MTSS for the Whole Child: Align Systems & Elevate All Learners

Embedding school mental health supports within MTSS requires more than adopting programs or responding to crises—it demands a coherent, intentional systemic approach. This session challenges leadership teams to examine how their existing structures align, interact, and function as a whole. Participants will explore eight essential domains of a comprehensive school mental health system and be introduced to the School Mental Health Quality Assessment Tool to support continuous improvement. Attendees will be ready to lead their teams in meaningful reflection, strategic refinement, and purposeful redesign of practices across a tiered continuum of supports. 
 

Are you ready to make the jump to the new PBIS Tiered Fidelity Inventory 3.0 Tool? This session will provide participants with a brief jumpstart overview for making the switch or administering the PBIS TFI for the first time. Changes to the fidelity tool, best practices for getting started, and how the inventory tool can support data-decision making within your MTSS system around behavioral supports will be addressed.  

In an MTSS framework, family partnership shouldn't be a sidecar—it must be the engine. This session challenges the "checklist" approach to engagement, moving from passive involvement to active investment. Drawing on 30 years of leadership experience, we will deconstruct systemic barriers and utilize the Dual Capacity-Building Framework to foster trust-based partnerships. Participants will learn to leverage family insights to strengthen Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports, centering the "Whole Child". Attendees will leave with strategies to strengthen family involvement and relationships with their school community.
