Tuesday September 29, 2026 11:00am - 12:10pm EDT
In this professional learning series, participants will explore how MTSS can be leveraged to increase student motivation, engagement, and understanding in the secondary math classroom. The series will focus on creating inclusive, student-centered learning environments that support meaningful participation, productive struggle, and positive mathematical experiences for all learners. Participants will examine strategies such as purposeful small-group instruction, accessible high-cognitive-demand tasks, and collaborative learning experiences that promote student thinking, confidence, and ownership of learning. Educators will also explore how these approaches can strengthen both Tier 1 instruction and targeted intervention supports while fostering belonging, persistence, and deeper conceptual understanding in mathematics.
