Steve A. Massengill comes to you with a 37 year career in public education. As part of the Lincoln Park Public Schools he has served in many capacities including teacher, elementary principal, middle school assistant principal and athletic director. Currently he is serving as the School / Parent Liaison which encompasses attendance and the McKinney Vento program. In this role it is his goal to develop strong school-parent relationships so that Lincoln Park can partner with parents, extended family, care givers, students, and the community to improve attendance throughout the district.
Dr. Carol Ann Paul, is the Director of State and Federal Programs and Special Populations at Wayne RESA, with over 20 years of experience across elementary, secondary, and collegiate education.
A researcher and published author, Carol Ann's work spans both creative and scholarly writing. Her juvenile chapter book Breaking Wind: Kites, Naan Bread, and Friendship (2015) received a Mom's Choice Award. Her 2023 doctoral dissertation examined educator transformation through emergency remote teaching, and she has since co-authored two peer-reviewed journal articles continuing that line of inquiry: "Safeguarding Learning Before, During, and After Emergency Remote Teaching" (Michigan Reading Journal, 2024) and "From Survival to Strategic Use: Technology, AI, and Collaboration Five Years After Emergency Remote Teaching" (International Journal of Professional Development, Learners and Learning, 2026).
