Kristen Maunu supervises Elementary Programs and Services and Visual Impairment/Orientation & Mobility teacher consultants for the Western Wayne Regional Educational Service Agency. In her role, she coordinates districtwide efforts related to Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and the Elementary Consultative Team, which includes teacher consultants and behavior specialists. Kristen’s work focuses on strengthening inclusive practices, promoting the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), and supporting special education compliance and evidence-based practices that improve outcomes for students.
Melissa Brown is a Behavior Specialist who supports school teams in the implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), evidence-based behavioral interventions, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and trauma-informed approaches. Melissa collaborates with educators and administrators to develop sustainable systems and practices that promote positive student behavior, increase staff capacity, and create supportive and inclusive learning environments.
